BAS offers consultation services in the early stages of planning and budgeting. We assist in needs assessment of existing or potential sites and map out appropriate solutions.


We clearly define the possibilities and help establish realistic budgets and schedules and offer you and your executive or committee visual schematics, prototype samples and specifications that make the review and decision process easy.

Project Management

Our account managers drive the process from start to finish, offering you creative and inclusive strategies, communication and reporting throughout the project. For this reason BAS always delivers, on time and on budget.

At BAS our experienced design team works with you to fully understand your needs and objectives and offers solid and innovative design solutions.

Our solutions are always in sync with the building’s architecture, environment and the fit and finish of the surroundings. The results are user friendly and aesthetically pleasing , while clearly communicating the intended messaging and client brand.

The design process includes the following phases:

  • Project definition / Client needs – brand and messaging requirements;
  • Site visit and analysis;
  • Design concept presentation;
  • Fine tuning of selected concept;
  • Final drawings and documentation;
  • Client approvals / files to fabrication.


As the final stage in the process BAS offers full installation services provided by its expert team of installers skilled in all aspects of interior and exterior installation, including electronics and software. We also provide union installers if required.  All installations are overseen by our Project Manager to make sure that the quality of this final stage of a project.

Robert Sherrington

Rob’s extensive experience in collaborative sales, master planning, and client partnerships within the venue of environmental graphics and donor recognition has spanned nearly three decades. Rob’s industry knowledge and expertise is both national and international on numerous projects, and he has been involved with digital donor recognition since the early nineties – before it became popular or common, as such Rob has been key to its evolution. His personable style and commitment to detail is a trusted reputation that has touched national programs and international projects. For health care facilities and educational institutions alike, Rob’s commitment is assuring quality results with the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Deborah Burgess, BFA, SEDG

– Partner and Creative Director

Deborah brings years of knowledge and experience from both the corporate and charitable business sectors in consultation, design, strategic planning, communications, architectural signage, integrated interactive and digital media. Deborah has presented on the topic of donor recognition at conferences such as: AFP, AHP Canada and International, CAISAP and CCAE and is a member of Society for Environmental Graphic Design and Association of Fundraising Professionals. Deborah’s career background in corporate branding brings a synergistic and systematic approach to all projects. Her vast experience in the charitable business and public sectors have shown that ingenuity and creativity gain efficiencies without sacrificing quality in solutions. Deborah’s well-honed analytic, strategic, creative, management and people skills gives her the ability to quickly assess situations and respond with valuable, practical, creative and sustainable solutions.

Moni Harrison

– Client Account Manager

Reporting to ownership, Moni is responsible for account service and management including meetings, schedules, budgets and project oversight. With 20 years of industry experience Moni has excellent communication and customer care skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and team members. It is her job to assist clients throughout the life of a project to ensure that point of contact is always accessible. Moni is a dedicated, collaborative, team player.

Erin Strickland

– Assistant Art Director

Erin has 12 years of experience in designing integrated donor recognition systems and displays.  Erin graduated from Durham College in 2003 and is a talented designer and illustrator who has won awards for his work.  Erin brings to the team great creative, production and organizational skills.

Robby Elder

Sales & Marketing Associate

Robby is responsible for developing ongoing and sustainable marketing strategies, increasing and maintaining a strong social media presence, acquiring new business and managing a portfolio of clients. Robby’s ability to identify relevant digital marketing trends, provide insights into the sales process and his ongoing charisma and determination adds a very broad and valuable dimension to BAS. With a Business Diploma from George Brown College and significant experience in the world of Acting, Robby’s communication skills and motivated attitude are a welcomed addition to the diverse team.
