Baycrest Case

Baycrest is a global leader in geriatric residential living, healthcare, research, innovation, and education, with a special focus on brain health and aging. Founded in 1918 as the Toronto Jewish Old Folks Home, Baycrest continues to embrace the long-standing tradition of all great Jewish healthcare institutions to improve the well-being of people in their local communities and around the globe.

BAS are so very fortunate to have such an amazing partnered relationship with their Foundation. Over the last couple of decades, we have provided numerous recognition products – included are Cumulative, Campaign, Annual Giving, Legacy, and Special Program Donor Walls; interior and exterior Major Gift Naming and Dedication Signage; and numerous special programs – two examples: the provision of a Dental Clinic donor wall; and a custom designed ‘Tree Hugger’ plaque system. We developed this product to allow plaques to stand proudly on olive trees, grown within their interior Winter Garden Parkette.

Our deliverables include Planning, Consultation, Design, Production, Fabrication, Project Management including the oversight of implementation and installation of all sign types and component parts, ongoing updates, and maintenance of all signage and programs.

Working collaboratively with the client we have created solutions that has worked for them and their donors, while complimenting the environment. The following testimonial speaks for itself…

Baycrest Hospital Foundation – Working with BAS and the incredibly knowledgeable team there has been a pleasure since day one. Simply put, BAS consistently delivers exceptional quality donor recognition signage that beautifully balances modern styles while maintaining our traditional roots. We have had the pleasure of partnering on many projects together, at both small and large scales. At any one time, we are working with their friendly and helpful team on numerous recognition projects that are in the planning, production, and installation phase. BAS has the ability to use creativity and problem-solving skills when designing and installing unique recognition pieces, and also provide incredible accuracy and quick turnaround time. No project is too challenging for this team. In 2011, Baycrest Foundation partnered with BAS to create a new, extensive, and state of the art Hall of Honour. We continue to work with them every year, to update all the walls and recognition listings. From start to finish, 8 years later, it has always been a seamless process. BAS has also designed plaques for unusually shaped tree trunks in our atrium and created a complex plaque for our dental centre that features a multicoloured, Pop art-style mouth and individual plaques recognizing 60 donors. No matter how difficult or challenging the job, the BAS team approaches it with gusto, care, high quality materials, attention to detail and excellent customer service.
